Pulling Force Comparison

Fusible PVC® has a much larger pull force capability than the equivalent Certa-Lok™ pipe systems. This larger pull force capability allows Fusible PVC® pipe to be pulled in much longer lengths. The table below compares the safe pulling forces for Fusible PVC® pipe and Certa-Lok™ C900/C905 RJ™ and C900 RJIB™ products.

Sample Pipe Comparison

Fusible PVC® pipe systems require a smaller bore hole diameter than Certa-Lok™ C900/C905 RJ™ and C900 RJIB™ pipe systems. A smaller bore-hole diameter means that there will be less back reaming, less drilling mud, and less spoil disposal. In addition, the larger pull force capacity for Fusible PVC® pipe allows for longer HDD installations. The following comparison illustrates these advantages.
